CBD FAQ (FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS)

13 Frequently Asked Questions About CBD Oil

For our customers who have purchased our Sublingual CBD Products (Tincture Oil) we recommend you follow these dosage guidelines.

Note: This applies to all strengths of Tincture Oil: 100mg / 250mg / 500mg / 1000mg / 2000mg / 3000mg

We recommend using a ½ dropper, 2x daily (consistently – once in the morning, once at night); Squeeze the end of the dropper until all of the contents are underneath the tongue and hold for 45-60 seconds before swallowing. Following this dosage routine for at least 1 week to have successfully added enough CBD to your metabolism until results would be noticed. Dropper Logo For Hemp Oil

If after you have consistently taken this approach for 2 weeks and you have not noticed results, consider taking a higher mg dosage.

General Usage Notes: Individuals who have the greatest deficiency of CBD in their endocannabinoid system will get the most impact from adding CBD to their regular supplement routine.

Most adults should consider starting with a 500mg strength tincture oil, and depending on their physical condition and other factors, likely want to progress to a 1000mg or higher to get the most benefit from this nutritional supplement.

Factors like age, weight, diet/intake, and other medical conditions should be taken into consideration when thinking about the strength of the CBD product. If you are higher in weight or have compounding health factors you would likely need to take a higher strength CBD product [1000/2000/3000mg] from ReThink to achieve desired results.

Some of you may have noticed that our labels and packaging now says  “Broad Spectrum” and there’s a reason for that. Please read below to learn more!

When ReThink CBD launched we insisted on a best practices manufacturing method using a multi-step process to ensure a quality end product, this process is described below.

In addition to our proprietary manufacturing process, we also launched our product line with the naming convention “Full Spectrum with Zero THC” to give consumers the understanding that they would be purchasing a product that had all of the benefits of CBD without the risk or downside of consuming THC. We made this decision at the time because the awareness of CBD and it’s varying types (Full Spectrum CBD vs. Isolate CBD) was limited and we wanted to educate our customers while the market was emerging.

Speaking in technical terms, Full Spectrum with Zero THC is the same as Broad Spectrum CBD. At this point we are more confident that the mainstream consumer is more knowledgeable and aware of the differences of CBD in the market, so we will be phasing out our ReThink Full Spectrum materials and replacing them with packaging and labels which read “Broad Spectrum CBD.”

We feel this is the best way to communicate to the end consumer that ReThink is a CBD brand which contains all the compounds within the plant but the THC is completely removed. Rest assured we continue to manufacture a pharmaceutical grade CBD brand with Zero THC using the highest quality ingredients available.

ReThink CBD manufacturing process:
1. Cultivation and harvesting high-quality hemp using the Cannabis Sativa L strain of industrial hemp. This is high in CBD content and has low levels of THC naturally.
          • Full-Panel by 3rd party ISO certified lab testing to ensure raw material has no toxins, heavy metals, microbials, or other plant impurities.
2. Extraction of all the ingredients in the plant which included CBD, THC, terpenes, flavonoids and other cannabinoids.*
3. Further extract the THC content in order to end up with a Zero (0%) THC product.*
4. Extracted Oils are tested again to ensure both CBD content and Zero THC levels.
5. Raw material proceeds to formulation, bottling, and finishing product stage.
6. Finished goods are tested again to ensure CBD levels and quality meet ReThink’s standard for pharmaceutical grade products.

*Supercritical Extraction
ReThink has internally tested a number of manufacturing processes which would help improve efficiency, purity and versatility in order to optimize the oil quality. This has led to a “tunable solvent” process also known as Super critical CO2 extraction which is an extraction process extremely versatile for creating a multitude of end products by controlling temperature and pressure. This process gives us the ability to separate individual compounds (such as THC) while the final extraction is taking place.

CBD, short for cannabidiol, is just one of over 100 unique compounds called cannabinoids that are found within the cannabis plant. CBD is found throughout the stalk, and flowers of various types of cannabis plants, including hemp and marijuana.

Cannabidiol naturally occurs in large quantities within the cannabis plant, thus the easy extraction of it. Unlike tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD is non-psychoactive and doesn’t elicit a “high” feeling when consumed, making it safe to use by members of your entire family.

Cannabinoids, including CBD, interact with the body through the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is made up of receptors in the brain, central nervous system, and peripheral nervous system (nerves throughout the body’s limbs and organs).

While it’s true that CBD is legal in all 50 states, there are situations when it isn’t legal. The difference between legal and illegal typically depends whether the CBD is derived from hemp, or marijuana.

Now, marijuana and hemp are both members of the cannabis family, so they do share a lot of characteristics. There is, however, a crucial difference between the two The amount of psychoactive Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) that each plant produces.

While marijuana can contain 30% or more of THC, industrial hemp contains no more than 0.3% of THC. In other words, marijuana can cause a high, while CBD derived from hemp with less than 0.3% would NOT cause any high.

With the passing of the Farm Bill of 2018, CBD derived from industrialized hemp that contains less than 0.3% THC and is federally legal. The bill also removed CBD from the DEA’s schedule 1 class of drugs, and paves the way for the FDA and individual states to regulate CBD. As of Q1 2019, there are a few states that still have gray areas with respect to CBD regulation and their legal status; check with your state and local government to learn more. [Read more about the Farm Bill of 2018].

Note: It is possible to purchase CBD products that have a mix of CBD and Marijuana, so it’s very important to understand what kind of products you purchase, and their intended uses.

ReThink CBD is derived from industrialized hemp, and contains NO THC. ReThink products will NOT cause a high, and are federally legal as per the Farm Bill of 2018.

*The data and legal information represented was current as of Q4 2018, and since then some of this information has changed. Please only use this as a general guide, and not as legal advice.

There are a few important points to consider here, please read carefully. Some CBD products are made from Marijuana and contain THC, which would cause someone using that brand of CBD to fail a drug test.

CBD not made from Marijuana is made from industrial hemp, which by law has less than 0.3% THC, and after refinement would typically have less -ReThink CBD is made from Broad Spectrum CBD and has Zero THC.

But is it possible to fail a drug test? Yes, It’s possible – here’s what consumers need to know:

Consumers will not get any THC from ReThink products. That said, there are some outdated testing methods that may come back as positive for the following reasons…

Older test methods only test for cannabinoids and they don’t distinguish between CBD and THC – Those tests can possibly register a false positive for THC. Even a consumer of Isolate CBD products can have the same result.

If a person is truly concerned with this they need to know that any CBD product could have this same result. If the test method is a newer one that is testing solely for Delta9 THC then our products would not cause them to fail that test.

Additional Details:

There are different drug tests that detect varying elements and have different thresholds. The most common is the urine screen. There are different panels – 5 through 12 testing for different substances.

The higher the panel the more the test is looking for. That said employment screening panels test for THC in particular. A full spectrum oil from marijuana will result in a positive test. A full spectrum from HEMP (because it is .3% or less) should not show up unless you take high amounts for a consistent period of time. A HEMP based isolate or broad spectrum (that the .3% is extracted) should not show up as a positive.

Hemp based CBD oils, when used in low doses, are unlikely to result in a positive test because they often don’t contain high enough levels of THC for detection. However, since the industry is not regulated and processes can be faulty as result of varying dose recommendations and uncertain THC levels, taking CBD oil comes with a risk of a non-negative test result.

ReThink would NEVER advise that someone will NOT fail a drug test, even though our product probably wouldn’t cause this to happen.

ReThink CBD is derived from industrial hemp and contains NO THC!  ReThink is Broad-Spectrum CBD that has no THC, but does have other essential oils and cannabinoids.

There are some CBD products that do contain trace elements of THC (Full Spectrum CBD is one of them), and CBD isolate products will only contain CBD and no THC. There are some CBD products that are derived from Marijuana, and may contain more than trace levels of THC. Make sure you carefully read the labels of any items so that you can understand whats in the product you wish to purchase.

Before We Start educate yourself on the benefits of hemp oil and read about how other people are using it and determining how much to take. The manufacture recommended serving size on hemp supplements may not be perfect for everyone, so we encourage you to experiment.

Step 1

Shake well!

Separation in hemp oil products is completely natural and to be expected. Some bottles are impossible to see into (which is good — dark bottles help block light for optimal shelf life), but if you can, take note of how the oil tends to settle onto the bottom. Once you start shaking, it quickly blends.

Step 2

Squeeze the dropper top to fill the pipette with oil and dispense the oil under your tongue. You can swish it around a little, but most people like to just let it sit. You can add as many droppers full as needed; don’t feel you need to restrict yourself to the recommended serving size.

The side effects are minimal. Many people have noted a slight sedative effect at larger quantities. This may be beneficial if you have trouble sleeping, so consider using it before bed.

Allow the oil to absorb into your system by holding the oil in your mouth for 60-90 seconds before swallowing. You may choose to swish it around, but it’s not necessary.

Step 3

Repeat as necessary throughout the day. As mentioned above, hemp oil may be slightly sedative at higher amounts, or simply calming and relaxing at a lower serving size.

Of course, you can buy CBD products online. Checkout our website and our premium CBD products. We offer the highest quality and most competitive priced products on the internet.

If the product contains less than .3% of THC (hemp derived CBD), you can purchase CBD over the counter in many states where CBD is legal. It can also be purchased online and shipped directly to you. No medical marijuana card is needed.

CBD oil is derived from hemp, so hemp and CBD oil are the same. Broad Spectrum CBD oil is the base ingredient of ReThink products. It is highly effective because it contains all of the essential oils, fatty acids, and aminos that would normally be stripped away in isolate products. In our opinion, isolate CBD can be compared to squeezing out all the Vitamin C from an orange. You can still drink the juice, but it’s not the same.

ReThink encourages you to start at a dosage of 25mg per day. After 7 days, you can increase the dosage to 30-35mg, until you begin to notice results. Below are the indications on how to take our CBD Tincture Oil.

Step 1
Shake well!
