Did you know that all animals have an endocannabinoid system (ECS)? The ECS can be thought of as a collection of highways and messengers throughout the body. It communicates with different organs and organ systems to help modulate and maintain organ function and stability. It is responsible for managing sleep, appetite, inflammation, metabolism, and much more. The reason why CBD works is because we are all biologically made to react to CBD in a way that helps decrease inflammation, pain, and more.
While most of our products are made for humans, we created a special line just for animals. We believe that all sentient beings matter which is why we created our CBD oil sprays, treats, and topical treatments. While this line was of course made with pets in mind like cats and dogs, we started realizing that our products are biologically compatible with all animals, and we’ve seen a demand for the use of CBD on undomesticated animals.
Our social media manager had the pleasure of volunteering at a farm animal sanctuary in Amsterdam. She noticed that a lot of the animals were suffering with very similar things that we all tend to suffer with as we age. The donkeys and the pigs were struggling with arthritis and difficulties walking as well as some anxiety from previous abuse at farms. There was also a 16-year-old cat having trouble getting up and roaming around. We proposed that CBD could be a natural and effective option for helping manage these issues and it was. After a few days and weeks of giving the animals some of the CBD oil sprays, we noticed that many of their symptoms lessened and improved. On the other side of the world, our CBD products have been used in a wildlife sanctuary in Mexico. Jaguars and wild cats that have been saved from traumatic and abusive experiences have been given CBD to help combat any post traumatic anxiety and pain.
